what you should check out…from colette.fr

I’ve blogged before about what you guys should check out from Urban Outfitters, but I thought the new year would be as fitting time as any to elevate your style and awareness.  If you’ve been reading this blog and you’ve never heard of Colette before then you are probably missing out on one of the coolest limited edition everything type of store.  Ridiculous Nike/New Balance drops, art, Ed Banger clothing, Dior, modern design stuff, Tom Ford, Bastian, KVA, whatever you lust – Colette probably has carried it.  They also were responsible for some collaborative items with Gap on 5th Avenue in NYC, but I digress.

Colette is what my wish list is full up – limited edition, exclusive, high-end items – but not excessive items.  They have a really good selection of stuff I’ve never heard of/seen before.  Here are some of my favorites:

The Pharrell Candle:

Anybody remebered when I blogged about this in this blog’s infancy?  I think the post I had was actually before Pharrell did this limited collabo but they still had produced a Vulcan/ Star Trak candle at that point.

Okay, to be honest – they have way too many things I want.  So many things have hit Colette’s 50% off that you shop cop.  And you don’t have to pay the VAT tax and might not have to pay customs (I’ve ordered from Colette before and didn’t have to).  Shop with caution:

Marc Jacobs x Kaws Ballerina Shoe – I blogged about this shoe as well.  Even after the sale, they’ll run you close to four bills.  But your girl is worth it, right?

Fellas, if you are burning a hole in your pocket and need to spoil yourself, fear not.  They’ve got Michael Bastian, Tom Ford and Lanvin all on sale.  And unless your held up in a penthouse somewhere, this sale means that you actually should consider buying a piece from one of those three prestigious designers.  Check out the sale here.
