I’ll admit, I wasn’t that impressed with the first two colorways of the Air Yeezy. The only one that really interests me is the one that is dropping in May:
But today, I read that the colorway seen on the Glow & The Dark Tour may be making it’s way to a release.
These were spotted at Nike’s new TPE 6453 boutique in Taipei, alongside two other colorways of the Yeezys. We can only pray that the black/grey/fire red colorway drops soon. My guess would be June, following the release of the three colorways already announced. Glad to see Kanye is releasing something in a bred colorway – putting it on for Chicago!
I was wondering if sneaker shops would be doing anything crazy for the release of the Nike Air Yeezys. I saw random drawings, an online release, and of course the people camped out 48 or 72 hours in advance but nothing too crazy. And then I saw what my favorite shoe spot, (St. Alfred’s) did:
Damn! I haven’t made it to St. Alfreds in a while (trying to cut back on kicks) but I really am kicking myself for not going out for this release. If they have the same sort of release planned for the tan Yeezys in May, I’ll be there.
Keri Hilson’s “Knock You Down” finally has a music video. Watch it to see Yeezy in a face to camera rap (a la All Falls Down) and the black and pink Air Yeezys.
Oh and is anyone else developing a crush on Ms. Hilson?
Complex, while interviewing Kanye West, obtained a bunch of concept and original drawings of the Air Yeezys. The original designs would actually translate well into a model – although the strap may be a little much.
I could post plenty more but you should probably just check them out here at Complex.
