More bags have leaked from the highly anticipated capsule collection from Raf Simons and Eastpak. They are already available for order from Oki-Ni.
The Hobo bags are by far my favorite from this selection. Everybody needs a good weekend bag and you definitely won’t be mistaken carrying a murse (man x purse) with this bag. Unfortunately, those prices are in pounds and not dollars. If you can stomach it, here’s the link.

Do any designers work by themselves anymore? Everyone and their grandma is doing collaborations these days. And perhaps the reason why is that it consistently produces amazing work. Aside from my rant about LV x Stephen Sprouse yesterday, collaborations look to be a huge thing this year in fashion as well.
Raf Simons has collaborated with Eastpak for his third capsule collection. His first collection was well received, while the recent FW collection ended up on the Barneys sale rack marked down to $99. This new collection looks like a sell-out, featuring a blend of sci-fi and classic styling. The only vibe I get from the collection is ultra-lux hotel in Egypt in the year 2050. Metallic patches, full-grain leather, canvas, mesh and metal hardware fuse together to create what will undoubtedly be a well-received capsule collection.

I just posted about Dior Homme’s latest offerings for SS09 – and it appears as though KVA isn’t the only one channeling some Star Trek type vibe for this season. Maison Martin Margiela is releasing some ski goggle looking glasses this seasons, featuring a one piece lense.
They’re also releasing a tortoise shell looking version – but if your going to wear ski goggle sunglasses, you might as well rock them in yellow. Please MMM – give these to Kanye but keep them out of the hands of Chris Brown and Nick Cannon. The former has style, the latter just disposable income. And to rock these you need both.

I really thought after the seemingly low sales of the last Sperry x BoO collaboration for SS08 that they wouldn’t continue the line but I was proven wrong this morning. In all they look fairly similiar to the last collection, featuring a lot of deconstucted looks and a few new colorways.
I wouldn’t mind picking up another pair that looks like this:
